I found a Today doll on eBay that had had its hair cut, and aside from that was described as being in great condition... for $32!!! I want to get her a new wig! Yay I'm excited!!! She has blue eyes... What color wig should I get her?

What do you guys think of this wig:

I like the Whitney wig, but you might want to go down a size to 11/12. The standard size for AG's is 11, but it differs with the brand of wig. I have not had any experience with this brand of wig so I don't know what size would fit an AG doll.
Maybe someone that has used this brand of wig can give you better advice about the size.

We used the Whitney wig on our PM AGOT-2 and it is actually too big even at a size 11. I'd get a 10 if you want to use it, but it doesn't look like it's available in that size. If you do decide to go with it, know that unbraided it comes down to the doll's ankles and is very whispy. I trimmed it to waist-length, but the hair itself is still thinner and whispier than the AG wigs you're used to. That hasn't been a problem for us, but FYI. We chose a light brown, which matches my DD's hair color perfectly. I'll probably be posting an album that includes pictures of this doll in the wig later tonight on another thread.

If you like the Whitney wig, you might want to try this wig from the 2nd site you linked to. It's a lot like the Whitney wig would be out of the braid, and straightened, only in a more managable length, and without the whispy flyaways.

I made an order with PrillyCharmin, to rewig a 2nd Samantha doll I had acquired. I actually bought this wig just to fill the minimum purchase cap (which is $10), I'd intended to use the Kyrstal wig (which they seem to have sold out of in the correct size), but I didn't like it in person.

Here's a few pics of the doll (she doesn't have a name yet) :

100 0117

100 0119

I have the wig a bit to the side, so it looks like a side part, but here's a pic with it down the middle:

100 0115

I now see why AG doesn't make too many bangless dolls with a centerpart, there's a lot of hair, and it just wants to sit in front of her face.

It's a really nicely made wig, and is very pretty.

Edit because I used the wrong tag, heh.
